Waiting for our flight. We woke up very early in the morning and our flight schedule is at 10 am. The date was October 24, 2000.

At last we're flying, I'm sitting beside the window, my seat number is 15D PR 503. With Randy and Darwin. Singapore, Here we go!!

Singapore at last. Yehey!! My first country I've been to. I love this country so much. I hope Philippines would be like it someday. I love the system of government of Singapore. I'm with our new friend from Japan and Singapore, Ryoko Kitamura and Haresh

Singapore Tour with Dekna of Indonesia. China Town Complex. Chinatown is Singapore's cultural heart and still provides glimpses of the old ways with its numerous temples, decorated terraces and its frantic conglomeration of merchants, shops and activity. Unfortunately much of Chinatown has been torn down and redeveloped over the past 30 years.

Haw Par Villa. This villa is in the South-western Belt. Access is by road and public bus, taxi, and MRT. Formerly known as Tiger Balm Gardens, it is famous for the colorful statues of Chinese mythology. A three-dimensional show on the creation of the world and a Water God's Flume ride are available.

ORCHARD ROAD. This is the area where the high-class hotels predominate. It is also the domain of Singapore's elite, who are lured by the shopping centres, nightspots, restaurants, bars and lounges. A showcase for the material delights of capitalism, Orchard Rd also possesses some sights of cultural interest where a credit card is not required.
